Welcome one and all to the second annual Winter Fest Celebration on February 25th from 10am to 3pm in Bristol, NH! The event will be held in three different locations with a list of scheduled presentations and activities to keep everyone smiling and laughing all day long! Winter Games will be held in Kelley Park, the Granite State Zoo will present a wildlife show at the Tapply Thompson Community Center at 11am and we will have several outdoor and indoor presentations at the Slim Baker Lodge on Little Round Top Mountain! Please get involved in our first Chili Cook-Off competition! Proceeds will benefit the Newfound Football Team! Contact Brian at 744-9995 or Bonnie at 707-9695 to register. (You must register before February 18th in order to compete and details will be provided.) At the Slim Baker Lodge, there will be guided snowshoe hikes starting at 10am and 12pm and a winter survival presentation will begin at 1pm. Snowman competitions, scavenger hunts, fly-tying demos, and dozens of outdoor games will keep you warm and great food will keep you moving! Come on! Who would miss this? No one! This event is sponsored by the TTCC, the NLRA and the Lion’s and Leo’s Clubs. Winter Fest is free for the public! See you on the 25th of February! (For those of you interested in volunteering for this event, please contact Nikki at 744-8689)
