Community Education
By educating and engaging our community, we can ensure a continued tradition of stewardship.

Water Quality
Newfound Lake’s water quality is measured weekly from mid-May through September at seven monitoring sites.

Invasive Species
NLRA Lake Hosts and Weed Watchers, along with conscientious recreators, can keep invasive aquatic species at bay.

Ice-In on Newfound Lake

The lake was fully covered by ice beginning January 3rd, the earliest ice-in date since 2019. Along with recreational opportunities, ice cover plays an important role in keeping Newfound Lake healthy.
