Join us for a winter morning of bird discovery. From December through February, birders across North America take part in winter bird counts—community science projects that reveal important trends in bird populations. At this month's Nature Station, you can be a part of it! NLRA educators will kick things off with a short introduction to winter bird watching, then lead a guided walk along the Grey Rocks trails to look and listen for birds. Participants will also make their own bird journal to continue tracking sightings at home throughout the winter. Nature Station is a drop-in, family-friendly program with activities for kids of all ages. This program is free and open to all.
