Join NLRA for a hike that will give you a different perspective on the Newfound Watershed. The Cockermouth Forest in Groton is owned by the Society for the Protection of NH Forests (SPNHF) and includes “Little Pond,” a wetland that is within one of SPNHF’s Eco-Reserves.
We will meet at the Grey Rocks Conservation Center at 8:30am and carpool to the Cockermouth Forest Trailhead.
This moderate to strenuous hike is approximately 4 miles.
This program is free and open to all. Bring appropriate footwear, water and snacks. Leave pets at home.
