What’s happening beneath the surface of Newfound Lake, and what does it mean for the future of its waters?
Join us as we present a timely and informative update on the water quality and overall health of Newfound Lake. NLRA Conservation Program Manager Paul Pellissier will share the latest water quality data, examine the impacts of last summer’s drought, and discuss the recent discovery of the invasive spiny water flea in Newfound Lake—what it is, why it matters, and what’s being done in response.
The presentation will also highlight NLRA’s watershed protection initiatives and ongoing efforts to safeguard the entire Newfound Lake watershed.
Whether you’re a year-round resident, seasonal visitor, or simply care about clean water, this is an opportunity to deepen your understanding and be part of the conversation. Bring your questions and concerns about watershed health.
This program is free and open to all.
