Grey Rocks Boat Storage Lottery

Store your canoe or kayak right on the shores of Newfound Lake and the Cockermouth River at Grey Rocks Conservation Area.

NLRA offers seasonal storage of non-motorized boats for NLRA members through a lottery system.

Eligibility

Current NLRA members at or above the $50 level.
Membership must be active through October of the current year.

Dates and Fees

Lottery entry deadline: April 10th, 2026
Winners selected: April 14 (random drawing)
Storage season dates: May 1-October 31
Seasonal storage fee: $200 (due upon selection)

Only non-motorized boats are allowed.
